Do It Now Movement to distribute 360 filled Backpacks at three Philadelphia Area churches.
We are so happy to announce that our August 8, 2020 Amplify Community Collective Event raised $8270, enough to fill 360 backpacks for school aged students in the Philadelphia region and beyond. Each backpack is filled with supplies geared to at home and in school learning including paper, pens, folders, headphones and a Do It Now facemask to keep them safe.
Our largest backpack giveaway will be at Pinn Memorial Baptist Church Sunday, August 30th from 12:15 to 1:30pm. Do It Now Movement will also distribute backpacks at Christian Stronghold and Grace Baptist Church of Germantown. We cannot wait to get the school supplies to students in need in the community, so that they can feel prepared for the year even with the uncertainty of our times.
